Deep cleaning cost depends on what is being cleaned and how much build-up there is. A deep clean goes far beyond a regular clean: inside cupboards and appliances, behind and under fittings, high-level surfaces, grout and limescale. That takes more time, and the price reflects it.
What affects deep cleaning cost
The size of the space. The number of rooms, kitchens and washrooms is the starting point.
How much build-up there is. Grease, limescale and dust that have built up over months take longer to remove than a space that is cleaned regularly.
Kitchens and appliances. Commercial kitchens, extraction canopies, ovens and fridges are some of the longest parts of a deep clean.
Access and timing. Out-of-hours work, high ceilings and areas that need equipment to reach can change the price.
Extras. Carpet cleaning, inside windows and upholstery are priced on top when you need them.
Deep clean or regular clean?
A deep clean is usually a one-off, before an inspection, after an illness outbreak, when moving in or out, or to reset a space that has slipped. Once it is done, a regular clean keeps it that way for less. See our deep cleaning page for what is included.

Deep cleaning cost for offices and businesses
For offices, the deep cleaning cost depends on the floor area, the number of kitchens and washrooms, and whether carpets and high-level areas are included. Commercial kitchens take longer because of grease on canopies, walls and equipment.
Deep cleaning cost for homes
For homes, the deep cleaning cost depends on the number of rooms, the kitchen and bathrooms, and how much build-up there is. A deep clean before moving in or out is one of the most common jobs we do.
Is a deep clean worth it?
A deep clean resets a space so regular cleaning becomes quicker and cheaper. Many businesses book one before an inspection or once or twice a year, then keep the standard with a regular contract.
