During the clearance we sort through the home with the person or their family, and each item is kept, donated, recycled or cleared as agreed. The aim is a safe, clean home the person is comfortable living in, not an empty one. If there is anything precious or important, such as documents or keepsakes, tell us at the start.
Yes. If you are calling about someone else, we can talk it through first, in confidence, before anything is arranged. Call 01753 935935 and tell us what you are seeing and what the person is likely to be comfortable with. Our approach is judgement-free, and the pace and the plan are agreed with the person themselves, so they are part of the decisions about their home.
A hoarding clearance starts with an initial visit to agree the plan. We then sort through the property with the person or their family, and items are kept, donated, recycled or cleared. Once the rooms are clear, every room gets a deep clean, with pest and odour treatment if needed. At the end you receive a photo report showing each area before and after.
Yes. We agree a pace that works for the person, and the work can be split into stages rather than done all at once. Some people find it easier to clear one room at a time and see progress before moving on. The plan is set at the initial visit and can be adjusted as the job goes on, so nobody feels rushed.
It depends on the size of the home, how much needs sorting and the pace agreed with the person. The work can be done in one go or planned in stages over a longer period so the person can stay involved in the decisions. After the initial visit we agree the plan and timings with you, so you know what to expect before work starts.
Yes. We carry out hoarding clearances for families, landlords and councils, and we can work alongside the support workers and other people already involved with the person. Working together means the clearance fits in with the support they are receiving. A before and after photo report is provided, which can be shared with the people responsible for the property.
Every hoarding clearance is priced individually, because the cost depends on the size of the property, the amount to be sorted and removed, and the cleaning and treatment needed. We do not publish fixed prices. You can send photos on WhatsApp to 07470 913065 or through the quote form, or call 01753 935935, and you will receive a written quote.
